Antonis Poulios
Antonis Poulios is a clinical psychologist, MSc, PhD and a psychoanalyst practicing in Greece. They also serve as an assistant professor of clinical psychology at the University of Crete. Additionally, they are scientific associate of the research group “Queer Analysis” of the School of Cultural Analysis of the University of Amsterdam, AIDS Action Europe, the Greek Association of People Living with HIV “Positive Voive” and Orlando LGBT+ “Mental Health without Stigma”. They are also an external associate of the National Opera of Greece. In 2022, they were co-awarded the Symonds Prize by the Studies in Gender and Sexuality journal. In 2025, they received the “Dimitris Georgas” Early Career Researcher Award from the Hellenic Psychological Society. They are queer and, in case you’ve been wondering where the quiet queers are, introverted, and enjoying Dungeons and Dragons.

Carolina Besoain
Psychologist and PhD in Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She is co-founder and current Director of Colectivo Trenza, a non-profit organization based in Santiago, Chile, dedicated to the practice and transmission of psychoanalysis shaped by anticolonial queer feminist thought and activism. She has worked as a university lecturer and researcher with funding from Chile’s National Agency for Research and Development (ANID). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Graduate Program in Psychoanalytic Theory at UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro. She was awarded the 2024 Muriel Dimen Prize for her essay on the Erotics of the Act in Latin American Psychoanalysis. She currently practices psychoanalysis and conducts research independently. She is preparing to publish her first book on dreams as an erotic response to the Palestinian genocide, with Editorial Roneo.
